Task Description:

Setup the staging or dev environment for the website in preparation for development.

Details:

1. In WP Engine, copy the template site to a new staging or dev environment in WP Engine.
2. Ensure any paid plugins are using proper license keys
3. If the client provided website files for their current site, import in the available xml content files
   1. IMPORTANT: Review necessary CPTs before importing site content. Setup CPTs where necessary so post content is imported properly and ensure URL structure is correct.
4. Review the content has been imported correctly and that it is free of broken shortcodes.
5. Review title tags and meta descriptions to ensure those were imported correctly.
6. Eliminate any CPTs that are not applicable to the site (Ex: Eliminate the “Attorneys” CPT if it is a site for an epoxy flooring company).
