Task Description:
In the Active Clients folder of the shared drive, locate the client folder and the QA spreadsheet. Use the Pre-Launch QA tab within the spreadsheet to identify any issues that were missed and may still need to be resolved by the developer. Complete the checklist at the bottom of this subtask before closing.
Details:
- The “Dev Check” column of the spreadsheet indicates the status of that task as performed by the Developer. This serves as an acknowledgement that the test has been completed by the developer.
- Within the spreadsheet, please be sure to note the status of any items that failed that you may have fixed during the QA process, along with a description of the issue so that we can keep a record of any recurring issues that we may need to address with the developer.
- The tasks that are using bold red colors are critical or commonly missed items that should be reviewed carefully for EVERY website.
- Please also be sure to reference the project mockups against the designed mockups for any obvious inconsistencies between the layouts.
- Loop in the developer to resolve any failures that you were not able to fix during QA. You may delegate as much of this work back to the dev as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Check the “Dev Checklist” subtask in the Clickup project in case the project owner added any additional checklist items for the dev to complete that may be unique to the project
